The HackerTube TV home screen on a TV: a sidebar of icons, category chips across the top and a grid of videos with titles, channels and view counts.

Install

Install from the TV itself, or from a computer with adb.

  • On the TV

    Install the Downloader app from the Google Play Store. Open it, enter hackertube.tv/apk and select Install.

  • From a computer

    Download the APK and turn on debugging in the TV’s developer options. Then run:

    adb connect <tv-ip>
adb install hackertube-tv.apk

  • Allow unknown apps

    Downloader needs Install unknown apps turned on. If the TV blocks the install, turn it on for Downloader in Settings and try again.
